John (born 1896) was a son of John Maclennan and Henrietta Macdonald, 15 Kneep. He married Margaret Macritchie, 4 Aird Uig in Sydney, Australia and they returned to 4 Aird Uig in the early 1930s. Their daughter was born in Sydney but they had returned to Aird Uig before the birth of their son, John Angus.
