Peter Macritchie
Peter (1803-1883) seems to have come from Carnish, Uig; his parents were Donald Macritchie and Mary Macdonald. He moved to 7 Aird, Uig between 1851 and 1861. Peter was married twice, first to Christina Macdonald and then to Margaret Matheson, by whom he had eleven children. One son, John, died in infancy.
He was a boatbuilder and died in 1883.
