17104: Angus Beaton

Angus was the first known Beaton in Bernera and was thought to have come from Skye. He was married to Christina nee Macneil; with issue.

There is some confusion as to his name; in the OPR entry for his son John’s marriage in 1832 (to Ann Macaulay) John is described as son of Angus Beaton and Christina Macneil yet his daughter Christina’s death certificate states she is daughter of John and Christina Macneil.
