1811: Christina Macmillan

Christina (1847-1942) was a daughter of Donald Macmillan and Mary Nicolson, 7 Old Steimreway.
Steimreway was cleared in 1857 and the family were removed to 14 Lemreway.
At Lochs, in 1873, she married Finlay Macinnes, 8 Gravir. Christina and Finlay settled at 8 Gravir and they had nine children.
Christina was widowed in 1889 and is noted as a widow and head of household on the 1901 census.
Four of Christina's grandchildren lived with her for a time and attended Gravir School.
