18828: Roderick Peter Macleod
Roderick Peter (1878-1965) was a son of Hector Macleod and Mary Macritchie, Aird, Uig. Roderick Peter was a Pipe Major and composer. He may have begun to use just the name Peter on the death of his brother. He married Christina Macdonald and they had six children. They relocated to 7 Exeter Drive, Partick.
He was also a shipwright on the Clyde in Connell’s Yard, Whiteinch and at Fairfields from 1900-1927. See this account of his life.
