Margaret (1864-1957) was a daughter of John Macdonald and Jessie Macrae, Slumbay, Lochcarron. Who, despite her nickname was not from Beauly,
At the County Hotel, Edinburgh, in 1900, she married Malcolm Macdonald, 18 Tobson. Margaret and Malcolm settled at Thule House, 18 Tobson and they had four children.
Margaret was widowed in 1930.
In 1953 she was the oldest person in Bernera and performed the ceremony of cutting the ribbon at the opening of the Bernera Bridge.
