Mary (born 1902) was a daughter of John Macaskill and Mary Mackay, 26 Gravir. The family moved to Goathill Road, Stornoway in 1911.
In 1929 Mary Isabella and her sister, Johanna emigrated to the United States of America on the SS Cameronia and landed at Boston, Massachusetts. In 1930 the girls were living together in Boston.
