20421: Murdo Mackenzie
Murdo Mackenzie (1880-1956), son of Kenneth Mackenzie and Ann Macleod, 15 Keose, served in the Army during the Boer War. He went to South America in 1907 with his brother Alex John. On his return he married Mary Martin of 23 Luerbost in 1911 and lived in Stornoway.
