Mary, born in 1866, was a daughter of Norman and Mary nee Macarthur from 3 Breaclete. She married Norman Maciver from 8 Tobson and had eight children. Their first three children were born in Tobson then Mary and family moved to No 4 Breaclete, which had been taken over by her father. Mary inherited the croft and left it to her son Donald.
