Mary (1902-1961) was a daughter of John Mackay and Margaret Mackenzie, 7 Calbost. In 1921 Mary was working for John Kennedy assisting on the croft.
The family moved to 4 Macaulay Road, Stornoway in the 1920s.
She married a Mr Ross and they settled in Edinburgh. The couple had two children.
