Kenneth (1907-1959) was a son of John Mackay and Margaret Mackenzie, 7 Calbost. The family moved to 4 Macaulay Road, Stornoway in the 1920s.
He served with the Royal Naval Reserve during the Second World War and is mentioned in Roll of Honour: Pairc, Second World War.
At Stornoway, in 1935, he married Catherine Maclennan of Stornoway. Kenneth and Catherine settled at 17 Willowglen Road, Stornoway.
