22718: Norman Macdonald
Norman, born c1792, was a son of Norman "Tormod Ladhach" and Henrietta (Euphemia) Macdonald from Gisla. According to tradition he came to live in Bernera as a child, but that is not verified. He married Catherine Macdonald, daughter of the tacksman of Little Bernera, they were enumerated in Gisla in 1851; by 1861 they were in Breaclete).
They raised seven children.
