Mary (1837-1908) was a daughter of John Macmillan and Christina Kennedy of 4b Old Lemreway.
Lemreway was cleared in 1843 and the family were moved to 17 Crossbost.
In Lochs, In 1864, she married Kenneth Macleod, 8 Calbost. Mary and Kenneth were Cottars on 8 Calbost and they had nine children.
Some time after 1891 the family moved to 3 Marvig where they acquired the croft after Kenneth's cousin, John Maclean, Iain Dhomhnaill Choinnich, moved to Stornoway.
