Donald, born in 1892, was a son of Norman and Christina Macdonald from 5 Breaclete. During WW1 Donald served with the 2nd Seaforths and was wounded in 1914, discharged in 1917 and was awarded the Mons Medal. He never married and died in a military hospital in 1922.
