23124: Alexander Macleod

Alexander (born 1924) was a son of Murdo Macleod and Mary Montgomery, 23 Balallan.

He served with the Royal Navy during the Second World War as a radio telegraphist. After the War, he attended a technical college in Glasgow then returned to sea as a Radio Officer.

Alexander  was residing at 8 Howat Street, Glasgow when he married Christina Ann Maciver, 3 Laxay in 1950. He worked with Lloyds Shipping Agents, the marine surveyors for about 20 years. The couple settled in Bearsden and they had three daughters. 

Alexander was widowed in 1975 and in 1976 the family moved to 34 Laxay

Alexander married again in 1982.
