Margaret (1821-1893) was a daughter of John Macphail and Christina Maclean, 9 Old Gravir. In the 1852 lotting the family obtained 12 Gravir.
In Lochs, in 1839, she married Kenneth Macritchie, 20 Old Gravir. Margaret and Kenneth were Cottars at 9 Old Gravir and 38 Gravir. The couple had three children.
Margaret was widowed in 1858 and the family moved to Newmarket, Stornoway some time after 1861.
