25381: Angus Maciver

Angus (1895-1965) was a son of Finlay Maciver and Peggy Macinnes from 7 Breaclete. During the First World War Angus was interned in the Netherlands and was awarded the Mons Star. After the war he became a school teacher, teaching in Scarp and then Leverburgh where he stayed as headmaster until his retirement in 1960. Angus married Peggy Ann Macleod from 11 Breaclete; the couple lived in Leverburgh until Angus’s retirement when they moved to Laxdale. Angus and Peggy Ann had three children.
