25530: Duncan Maciver
Duncan Maciver (1894-1960) son of John Maciver and Mary Macdonald, 13a Laxay served with the Scots Guards during the First World War but was discharged because of his wounds. He married Marion Martin, 21 Tolsta Chaolais and they lived at 22 Laxay for a time before moving to Stornoway. They were the owners of the Crown Hotel in Stornoway.
