2656: John Carmichael
Iain Neill Eachainn
John (1827-1893) was a son of Neil Carmichael and Marion Kennedy, 24 Old Gravir. In the 1852 lotting the family obtained 18 Gravir.
In Lochs, in 1859, he married Margaret Macmillan, 14 Gravir. John and Margaret settled at 16 Lemreway and they had eleven children.
John's brother, Donald was married to Margaret's sister, Margaret.
