27654: Donald Montgomery
Donald Montgomery (1854-1936) son of Angus Montgomery and Christina Macleod, 23 Laxay worked for a tailor in Dingwall before returning to Stornoway in 1880 where he set up in business as a master tailor. His premises for 36 years were 4 Francis Street. In 1919 he moved to a new shop on Kenneth Street. He married Isabella Murray, 50 North Shawbost and lived at 32 Church Street and later at 39 Keith Street, Stornoway.
