Isabella Mackay (1823-1913) was a daughter of Murdo Mackay and Christina Macleod, 6 Old Eishken.
Old Eishken was cleared in 1835 and the family were removed to 1 Old Steimreway.
In Lochs, in 1849, she married Donald Nicolson, 6 Old Steimreway. Isabella and Donald settled at 6 Old Steimreway where three of their nine children were born.
Old Steimreway was cleared in 1857 and the family were removed to 26 Lemreway.
In 1863 the family emigrated to Lingwick, Quebec where Ann and Neil were born.
In the 1901 and 1911 Canada Census, Isabella is living with her daughter, Marion.
