Donald Macleod
Donald was the son of Malcolm Macleod. He was married to Isabella Macleod and they lived at 6 Valtos. They had eight children.
This family, apart from son, Donald, emigrated to Canada on the 'Marquis of Stafford' on 19th May 1851. They settled in Bruce County, Ontario.
He is probably the Donald Macleod who was a witness for the pursuer at the second hearing of the Lewis/Harris boundary dispute in 1850.
