28379: Donald Macaulay

Donald, son of Murdo and Elizabeth nee Macpherson, succeeded his father as tenant of Valtos, and is recorded in rentals 1718 and 1726. His house was situated at a place called Buaile nan Caorach in a hollow overlooking the eastern end of Cliff beach. He died sometime between 1726 and 1730, as in 1730 it was his widow’s name that is entered for Valtos. With issue.
