28684: Donald Maciver

Donald Maciver (1832-1908) was a son of Kenneth Maciver and Annabella Mackenzie, 1 Lochganvich. He came to Laxay as a gamekeeper in the early 1870s. He married Isabella Matheson from Callanish and lived at 28 Laxay from 1876-78, then moved to Stornoway. They had at least two children.
