28800: John Macleod
John Macleod (1885-1962) son of Malcolm Macleod and Mary Morrison, 29 Laxay emigrated to Canada in 1911. He served with the 28th Battalion Canadians during the First World War. He married Margaret Ann Mackenzie, 33 Murray Street, Maryhill, Glasgow (and 12 Clabost) at 16 Gardner Street, Glasgow. Returned to Canada where he worked for the Manitoban Government for 22 years, settling in Winnipeg in the 1930s.
