Donald Matheson

Donald Matheson

Donald Matheson (1897-1949) was a son of Andrew Matheson and Isabella Macfarlane, 15 Gravir.

He served as a Signaler in the Ross Mountain Battery in the First World War and was wounded at the Dardanelles. Donald was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and the Greek Military Cross and is mentioned in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918.

He settled in Birmingham.
