3477: Catherine Mackay

Catherine, third wife of Farquhar Macdonald, is believed to have come from Valtos. She was probably the daughter of John and Henny, 2 Valtos – her death certificate gives parents John and Harriet nee Macdonald and her patronymic supports the assumption.

In 1891 she is a widow, living in Geshader with her son John and his family.
