Malcolm (1816-1898) was a son of Murdo Macleod and Catherine Macleod, 13 Crowlista.
He married Catherine Macaulay, 17 Crowlista. Malcolm and Catherine settled at 13 Crowlista and in 1851 they emigrated to Canada and settled at Winslow Quebec.
They had a family of eleven, three born in Scotland and five dying in infancy.
