Iain Iain Dhòmhnaill
John (1888-1958) was a son of John Macaulay and Catherine Macdonald, 30 Balallan.
He served in the Mercantile Marine Reserve in the First World War and was torpedoed three times and was rescued each time. John is mentioned in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918.
At Partick, Glasgow, in 1917, he married Annabella Macleod of 8 Kershader. John and Annabella settled at 8 Kershader and they had five children.
