Mary (1861-1937) was a daughter of Duncan Macleod and Janet Macleod, 60 South Bragar.
At Stornoway, in 1896, she married Duncan Mackay, 3 Habost. Mary and Duncan settled at 8 Kershader and they had four children.
The family were living at 8 Kershader in 1911 and later moved to 3 Caverstay where they ran a small shop.
