Norman (born 1877) was a son of John Macdonald and Catherine Maclean, 6 Enaclete.

Norman was a policeman and later he had the Post Office in Enaclete, on the croft at number 6. He was the fourth croft tenant and married Kirsty Ann Macmillan of 23 Lemreway. Norman and Kirsty Ann had two children.
