Murdo Macleod (Murchadh na h-Airde) (born 1776) was originally from Eireastadh, Uig; later he lived in Aird Uig and eventually at 8 Enaclete, where he was the first tenant.

Murdo married Ann nee Macleod (a midwife) and they had at least four children - Catherine, Murdo, Ann and Angus. There may also have been a daughter Christina.
