Murdo Martin (1889-1918) son of Donald Martin and Christine Macaulay, 21a Balallan was unmarried. He emigrated to South America where he worked as a manager for the South Patagonian Sheep Trading Company on the Estancia Los Manantiales in San Julian, Argentina. He was shot after being mistaken for somebody else.
