Donald (1890-1963) was a son of John Macdonald and Ann Macleod, 6 Crowlista. He served in the Royal Army Medical Corps during the First World War and a record for him can be found in the Roll of Honour 1914-1918.
Donald became a Church of Scotland Home Missionary and served in several parishes across the Highlands and Islands. He married Murdina Macdonald and settled at 5 Timsgarry, Murdina’s family home. They had two sons and a daughter.
