Malcolm Macleod Campbell

Malcolm Macleod Campbell  (1924-1988) was a son of Alexander Campbell and Effie Macleod, 11 Glen Gravir. He was the first baby born in the newly-settled glen. 

"Calum na Toff" joined up at Fort George in 1944 and was a Lance Corporal (S/N 14876009) with the King's Own Scottish Borderers. He served at Bergen in Norway and Bielveld in Germany, and was demobbed in July 1947.

At Hillhead, in 1950, he married Margaret Mackenzie of 16 Marvig. Malcolm and Margaret  settled in Fife with their children.
