Christina (born 1851) married gamekeeper Roderick Mackenzie in 1870 in Lochbroom and came to live at Barvas, where they stayed for five years before moving to Carloway for one year. They then relocated to Kinresort before settling at Keeper’s Cottage, Uig Lodge. They had eight  children including a son, Hugh who died young and  Rev Col AJ Mackenzie who wrote an evocative memoir of his childhood.
