Chirsty Mary (born 1917) was the daughter of Angus Maclennan and Nora Smith, 6 Valtos. She was aged 12 when she returned with her parents from Vancouver and lived at 6 Valtos. She was aged 14 when her mother died.
Chirsty Mary married John Maclean, 17 Valtos, where they settled and had four children. She was one of the early women weavers in Uig.
Chirsty Mary had a sweet singing voice and is recorded on Tobair an Dualchais singing traditional Gaelic songs.
