38757: Donald Martin
Donald (1829-1909) was the son of Alexander Martin and Mary Macrae; it is not certain where the family were living at the time of his birth.
In 1830, during the croft lottings, the family obtained 8 Old North Tolsta.
In 1841 the family emigrated to the Eastern Townships of Quebec.
Donald settled in Winslow, Quebec.
He met and married Marion Macdonald, of Lingwick, Quebec. Marion had emigrated to Quebec, from Breaclete, in 1853.
Donald’s second marriage was to Ann Maclean, of Quebec and the Isle of Grimsay.
Nothing further is known.
