Christy Lizzie (1880-1943) was a daughter of Neil Macphail and Christina Sutherland, 19 Southside Gravir. She hoped to emigrate to Canada to marry John Macaskill of 17 Gravir but their romance was doomed.
In Stornoway, in 1917, she married widower Donald Morrison, 44 Gravir. Christy Lizzie and Donald settled at 44 Gravir and they had two daughters.
Christy Lizzie was widowed in 1937.
