38954: Duncan Macleod

Duncan (born 1880) was a son of John Macleod and Christina Maciver, 11 Valtos.

He married Christina Buchanan, 9 Valtos and they emigrated to Southampton, Canada. They had four daughters: Mary unmarried and died in the family home in Southampton, Ontario; Margaret married Malcolm, had two adopted children and lived in Toronto; Christy married Gordon had no family and lived in Simco and Betty married Ross, who had an undertaker business and furniture shop – they had two children and lived in Port Dover, Ontario.

Duncan was a fisherman with two of his brothers who had also emigrated.
