Seumas Mhurchaidh Iain
James (1818-1890) was a son of Murdo Macmillan and Henrietta Mackenzie, 7 Old Gravir.
In Lochs, in 1841, he married Christina Morrison, 11 Marvig. James and Christina initially lived at 7 Old Gravir and in 1851 were living at 11 Marvig. They then settled at 20 Gravir. The couple had six children.
James was widowed in 1882.
