39865: Margaret Maciver

Margaret  (1855-1941) was a daughter of  John Maciver and Christina Macaulay, 1 Islivig, Uig. She came to Lemreway with her brother Donald Maciver, the first schoolmaster at the public school in the village. Margaret was the second wife of Kenneth Macmillan, 23 Lemreway. At the time of her marriage, her place of residence is given as Skigersta, Barvas. Margaret and Kenneth lived at the West Coast Mission House at 23 Lemreway and they had eight children. 

Their son was the Rev Angus Macmillan, subject of The Hero of Buzancy.
