Murdo Kennedy
Murdo Kennedy (1913-1954) was a son of Kenneth Kennedy and Johanna Matheson, 33 Lemreway. In 1922 the family moved to 10 Orinsay.
Murdo served with the Royal Navy during the Second World War and his name is mentioned in Roll of Honour: Pairc, Second World War.
In Govan, in 1942, he married Isabella Macmillan, 11 Orinsay. Murdo and Isabella initially lived in Govan where they had their first son. The couple settled at 10 Orinsay and they had two more sons.
