Eachann Choinnich Eachainn
Hector (1807-1879) was a son of Kenneth Mackenzie and Mary Maclean, Buanish. The family were evicted to make way for the expanding sheep farm and lived for a time at Orinsay before settling at 8 Old Lemreway.
In Lochs, in 1830, he married Margaret Smith, 14 Laxay. Hector and Margaret settled at 26 Balallan and they had seven children.
