40862: Christina Macaulay
Christina (1795-1869) was a daughter of Angus Macaulay and Christina Maclean, 7 Old Brenish. She married Donald Buchanan, 10 Mealista. According to the Old Parish Register they had nine children.
In 1837, when Mealista was cleared they relocated to 5 Doune Carloway, appearing on the Census there in 1841. In 1853, when Doune Carloway was cleared, they moved to 6 Kneep where Donald was recorded as 2nd tenant.
In 1861. Christina, then a widow, was living with her sons Murdo and Duncan at 6 Kneep.
