41601: Duncan Macleod
Duncan, was the son of Malcolm Macleod and Christina Morrison, 3 Shieldinish. He was a seaman in the Royal Navy during the Second World War and served in the UK and North Atlantic and later joined the Merchant Navy. Duncan then became a gamekeeper for Soval Estate and latterly a weaver when he settled at 91 Balallan. He married Marion Maclean and had three of a family.
