42272: Angus Martin

Angus was living on Vuia Mhor in 1841 with two of his children. He may have been widowed by this time as his wife, Catherine, is not recorded. After Vuia was cleared in the early 1840s this family were believed to have lived for a short time in Geshader (No 10?) before moving on.

According to local tradition the Martins originally came from Skye and sometimes called themselves Mackinnons.
