4231: John Macmillan
Iain Sheumais Mhurchaidh
John (1850-1926) was a son of James Macmillan and Christina Morrison, 7 Old Gravir. The family were living at 11 Marvig in 1851 and by 1861 had moved to 20 Gravir.
In Lochs, In 1885, he married Ann Macmillan, of 1 Lemreway. John and Ann were Cottars at 20 Gravir and they had a son, Murdo. John was widowed the following year.
In Lochs, in 1892, he married Marion Macleod, of 20 Leurbost. The couple remained as Cottars at 20 Gravir and they had six children.
