Marion Ross (1898-1983) was a daughter of Archibald Ross and Julia Morrison, 11 Geocrab, Harris.
At the Waverley Hotel, Stornoway, in 1921 she married widower Roderick Montgomery, of Finsbay Schoolhouse (originally from 4 Balallan and 1 Habost). Marion and Roderick moved from Finsbay Schoolhouse and settled at 11 Geocrab along with Roderick’s son from his first marriage, Andrew. Marion and Roderick had a son, Archie, who died young, and a daughter, who inherited the croft at 11 Geocrab.
