43473: Donald Maclennan

Donald, son of John Maclennan and Mary Mackay, 5 Balallan served as an NCC in the Scottish Command during the First World War. He graduated MB and Ch.B from Aberdeen University and practised in Sheffield before returning to Scotland to study in Edinburgh where he was made FRCS in 1932. Donald was a house physician at Hull Infirmary; resident Medical Officer in Kettering Infirmary; resident Anaesthetist, assistant Casualty Officer and senior House Surgeon at the Royal Hospital in Sheffield. Latterly, he was a surgeon in Camarthenshire, Wales.
